USDC to EUR

Convert USDC to EUR into your company's IBAN

Sentvia converts USDC to euros and pays them over SEPA into an IBAN in your company's own name. You agree the rate before you send, we screen the incoming USDC, and the euros arrive as an ordinary bank transfer. Paid in EURC instead? That converts with no dollar-to-euro step.

Who it's for

Businesses that invoice in euros and are paid in USDC. Which stablecoin arrives is usually the counterparty's choice, not yours, so this corridor sits alongside USDT to EUR rather than replacing it.

USDC or EURC

On this corridor, the choice of stablecoin is a real decision, because a euro stablecoin exists.

How it works

  1. Request a quote. Tell us the stablecoin, the amount, and that you want euros.
  2. Lock the rate. Approve the quote; that's the rate you settle at.
  3. Send the USDC to the address we give you for that conversion. We screen it on arrival.
  4. Receive euros over SEPA into your company's named IBAN account.

For large single conversions, use our Prime OTC desk.

What you receive the euros into

The euros are paid into a named IBAN in your company's own legal name, provided through regulated banking partners. Banks in the euro area now check the payee's name against the IBAN before a SEPA transfer goes through, so an account in your own name matters more than it used to. Hold the EUR, pay it on to approved beneficiaries, or keep it alongside other currencies in multi-currency accounts.

Settlement timing by stage

Screening and conversionOur checks on the incoming USDC, then execution at the rate you locked
EUR payoutSEPA Instant settles in seconds where both banks support it; standard SEPA usually arrives the same business day when instructed within cut-off

Which SEPA scheme is used depends on the amount and the receiving bank. Processing times depend on currency, jurisdiction and bank rails used.

Before you send

  • Check the quote shows the euro amount you expect to receive, not just the rate.
  • Send only to the address we give you for that conversion, and only the amount quoted.
  • Put the invoice number in the payment details, so the euros reconcile to it on arrival.
  • Paying regularly in euros? Ask whether your counterparty can switch to EURC.

What we'll ask for at onboarding

  • Your certificate of incorporation
  • Who owns and controls the company
  • What the business does and why it receives stablecoins
  • Who sends the funds and where they came from

Compliance on every conversion

  • Screening. Every incoming USDC payment is screened before it is converted, including where the USDC came from before it reached us.
  • Source of funds. For larger payments we may ask how the payer came to hold the USDC. Our guide to source of funds for stablecoin payments sets out what answers the question.
  • Beneficiaries. Onward payments to third parties go only to approved beneficiaries, each reviewed by our compliance team.

FAQ

Common questions

Should we ask to be paid in EURC instead?
If both sides can use it, yes: EURC tracks the euro, so there is no dollar-to-euro conversion. If your counterparty only holds USDC, convert the USDC.
How long does it take?
Most conversions arrive the same business day when instructed within cut-off, and SEPA Instant settles in seconds where both banks support it. Processing times depend on currency, jurisdiction and bank rails used.
Is USDC handled differently from USDT?
No. Both are screened on arrival and converted on the same terms.
Why don't you publish a rate?
Each conversion is quoted and locked individually, so a published number would be out of date before you used it.
Will our bank see a crypto transaction?
No. The euros arrive as a SEPA transfer from a regulated provider into an account in your own name. If your bank asks, the conversion record sits behind the payment.
What about large amounts?
Large conversions go through our Prime OTC desk, quoted and locked as a single trade.
